2. Clinical Responsibility
The treating dentist/orthodontist is solely responsible for:
- Accurate clinical examination and diagnosis
- Proper tooth preparation and impression technique
- Appropriate material and restoration selection
- Patient suitability assessment and informed consent
- Verification of fit, occlusion, and margins before seating
- Cementing or insertion technique and clinical follow-up
- Patient post-operative care and maintenance instructions
3. Material and Biocompatibility Disclaimer
While all materials used are:
- Sourced from certified suppliers
- Tested for biocompatibility and safety
- We cannot guarantee freedom from allergic reactions in all patients. Dentists must assess patient history and perform allergy testing if required
Material specifications and technical data are available upon request. Clients should review material documentation before clinical use.
4. No Medical Device Warranty
Dental restorations are medical devices manufactured per Indian Standards (IS 6403 for denture bases, ISO 5725 for fixed prosthetics). However:
- We provide NO WARRANTY for patient outcomes or clinical success
- Warranty covers manufacturing defects only (workmanship and materials)
- Warranty does NOT cover clinical failures due to preparation errors, inadequate retention, or patient factors
5. Limitations on Fit and Accuracy
While we maintain strict tolerance standards (±20 microns for milled restorations):
- Final fit depends on proper tooth preparation and impression accuracy
- Chairside adjustments may be required depending on clinical circumstances
- We are not liable for fit issues arising from preparation or impression errors
6. No Liability for Patient Outcomes
Replica Dental Lab assumes NO responsibility for:
- Secondary caries or decay around restorations
- Pulpal complications or endodontic issues
- Gingival or periodontal disease
- Patient allergies or adverse reactions
- Bite discrepancies or TMJ dysfunction
- Restoration failure due to parafunctional habits (grinding, clenching)
- Any complication arising from clinical decision-making
7. Restoration Durability
While our restorations are designed for longevity, durability depends on:
- Proper preparation design and retention
- Quality of cementation or insertion technique
- Patient oral hygiene and dietary habits
- Absence of parafunctional habits
- Regular professional follow-up and maintenance
8. Courier Damage
Cases are packed with care, but Replica Dental Lab is NOT liable for:
- Damage during courier transit
- Loss or theft by courier service
- Delayed delivery due to courier issues
Clients should file insurance claims with courier partners for damage. We will provide replacement cases at cost if courier liability is established.
9. Third-Party Equipment and Scanners
While we accept digital files from all major intraoral scanner brands (3Shape, iTero, Medit, etc.), we are NOT responsible for:
- Scanning errors or data corruption from third-party equipment
- Compatibility issues with specific scanner models
- Technical support for scanner software or hardware
